StreetGames Vacancy

Dear All,

We hope you are all well? We currently have a short term vacancy in the StreetGames Wales team to share with you all, to cover the Youth Voice and Sport Systems Manager role for a period of 9 months. Rhiannon, who is currently in the role, is moving over to the National StreetGames team to take up a maternity cover role as Head of Volunteering and Youth Voice until March 2024, so we are looking for someone to keep the excellent work going in Wales from July onwards.

The role includes project managing all of our youth voice and volunteering work in Wales, as well as leading our relationships and projects with NGBs. We have some really exciting work going on at the moment, and some even more exciting new projects in the pipeline to launch this summer and beyond, so we are looking for a pro-active individual ready to get stuck in!

The role is advertised as full time, but we are very open to discussing other options. For example, doing elements of the role on a part time basis, job sharing and secondment arrangements. If you would like an informal chat about the role, and how it might suit you, please get in touch via email or phone on the details below.

All of the information about the role, including the official advert and job description can be found on the StreetGames website here

The closing date for applications is Tuesday 6th June at 9am, with interviews being held in Blaenau Gwent on Wednesday 21st June. This is a National role, working across Wales, so we welcome applications from across the country. We do not have a Wales office base, so the role will be home based, with regular face to face and online contact with partners and the rest of the Wales team, who are also spread across Wales.

If you would like any more information, or a conversation about the role, please get in touch. We would also really appreciate it if you could share this role with your own networks and contracts.
