PROJECT:

Aim: The project will engage with BAME women over 25 in the Riverside, Grangetown and Canton community with caring or childcare responsibilities who lack formal qualifications and/or employability skills.

Objectives: 

• To engage with the community.
• To provide employment support, such as work placements.
• To support to find employment and training.

Plans moving forward . . .

Facilitating IFTAR for women in the community to come together to break the fast and have a space to discuss what is needed from the project. Inviting various guests from the community who can offer opportunities for women.

Set up a steering Group from the community

Set up a network of employers who make a commitment to offering placements experience and a facilitate a meet the employers day ?
