Production Training Scheme 2021, which has recently opened for applications. The scheme is for new entrants to the TV industry or those with less than 3-months experience. They are particularly looking for applicants from those from BAME backgrounds, those from socially disadvantaged and underrepresented backgrounds or those who are disabled. The scheme is aimed at those aged 18+ and they also encourage applications from older applicants who might be looking to change career paths.

They are particularly hoping to attract those who’ve considered a career in the industry but don’t know how to get started or those who’ve never considered it but have the required skill set.

It is a 12-month scheme and we have positions available at production companies across the UK. There are 14 opportunities as a Trainee Researcher and 1 as a Script Editor and they will all be paid a wage of £22,000. They will also receive monthly training from us that will teach them everything they need to know to pursue a successful career in the TV industry.
