Cardiff and Vale Public Health dietetic team are piloting a new Children and Families programme for families with children aged 27 months – 7 years in the southern arc of the city of Cardiff (City and South locality). To support the new pilot C3SC has been commissioned to engage with families from Black and Asian Minority Ethnic Groups with children aged 27 months to 7 years old in Butetown, Grangetown, Riverside and Canton areas . The aim is to identify key assets, gaps and issues around themes of food and nutrition, active play, physical activity and wider parenting skills.
Can you help?
We are inviting local voluntary groups and organisations working or with easy access to families from Black and Asian Minority Ethnic Groups with children aged 27 to 7 years old in the areas of Butetown, Riverside, Canton and Grangetown. To support with the running of the engagement activities you can access £250 per focus group/ conversation session.
