: National Assembly Apprenticeship Scheme 2018 – Drop-in & Outreach Session’s – Grangetown and Butetown

*National Assembly Apprenticeship Scheme 2018*

Living Wage Salary: £16,258

We’re taking on four enthusiastic apprentices to work with us at the National Assembly. This is a paid apprenticeship and you’ll gain a qualification in Business Administration while gaining valuable work experience.

Purpose of the Assembly Commission Apprenticeship Scheme

The Assembly Commission Apprenticeship scheme presents an exciting opportunity for individuals to learn and develop within a parliamentary place of work. We are looking for four apprentices to work in various teams throughout the Commission. Each will follow a carefully designed programme, working in three areas for four month blocks, as well as taking part in short shadowing placements with other teams across the organisation.

To apply, you:

  • will be 16 or older by 1 September, 2018;
  • won’t be in full-time education or employment by the time the apprenticeship starts; and
  • will not need any specific qualification.

*If you already have a qualification at NVQ level 3 (or higher), then unfortunately you will not be eligible to apply.*

If you have any questions about the scheme or need help with the ONLINE application, you can attend any of the Outreach and Drop-in sessions at these locations and times:

*Grangetown Hyb, Havelock Place, Grangetown*

14th March 2018 at 5pm – 7pm*

*Butetown Community Centre, Loudoun Square, Butetown*

20th March 2018 at 5pm – 7pm

The deadline is 10.00 on Friday, 13 April.

*Who can be an Assembly apprentice?*

Absolutely anyone can be an apprentice at the National Assembly for Wales. We meant it!

*You might be leaving school and looking for a practical way to learn the skills you want. You could be looking to change careers, be unemployed or retired. Whatever your background or situation, there’s an apprenticeship here for you. With all the support and training you need.*

We know your talent has nothing to do with your age, background or disability. We are an Assembly for all.
